Handing out leaflets? Here's what you SHOULDN'T DO!
Rule 1: If you're symptomatic or are in contact with someone symptomatic, don't go outside to hand out leaflets or handle leaflets. Don't risk contaminating the leaflets or risk infecting others.
Rule 2: Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after handing out leaflets.
Rule 3: Don't touch your face without having washed or sanitized your hands first.

What is UK Mutual Aid?
This website is created by volunteers for volunteers who decided to take action and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by self-organising into local groups on WhatsApp and Facebook and to find the nearest Mutual Aid volunteer.
To help with coordination, we have developed a volunteer signup form and an interactive map that helps visualise where all our volunteers are located.
You can see who's nearby, check their services and availability, as well as join their WhatsApp and Facebook groups if you require assistance or would like to volunteer.
To appear on the map, you can use our sign up form where you can indicate your services, availability, and share your local groups for WhatsApp and Facebook to help others nearby find and join your local community effort.

Group admins can use the map to coordinate local efforts and also recruit volunteers closest to those who are in need. Admins can get in touch with us to request the First name and a contact number to contact volunteers directly in case local residents, charities, organisations require assistance.
Is this something you'd like to see in your area? A lot of people are having difficulty mapping their local volunteers. Let's help everyone stay connected, making it easier to coordinate, cooperate, respond and help each other stay safe!
Volunteer community blogs
We've also created local community blogs for each area and postcode for local groups to self-administer resources and updates to help the community come together. So far the following community blogs are up and running and should be populated with content very soon.
